QC New Music Group

QC New Music Group is a student-run organization created to support and promote graduate student composers at the Aaron Copland School of Music. The group organizes an average of 3 concerts per semester, which are to be performed at the LeFrack Concert Hall by professional hired musicians of the New York City area. These concerts provide the composers with high quality performances and recordings.

QCNMG is funded by the Student Life Office of QC. It is linked to the Composer's Workshop course offered by the composition department at the ACSM currently meeting every Tuesday (7:30-9:30PM) of the semester. The workshop is open to the public, and everybody is welcome to attend.
